This year, the festival in Bakugenjin Village, a paradise full of love, will be held again🌈
This year, we decided to arrange things differently, there is a lot of preparation going on,
hoping that it will be a festival for everyone who loves natural and organic feel♪!!!
We put an effort to organize homelike cozy atmosphere,
where people can get to know each other personally🌈
We wanna spread this culture!!

5,000 yen if u buy in advance (pass only)
7,000 yen if u buy on the day (pass only)
Free for Kawauchi Village residents and kids under 18 y.o.✨

Parking fee🚗:

2,000 yen per car
1,000 yen per motorcycle
Free for bicycles and pedestrians✨

❤️STORY❤️

The Bakugenjin Village festival, the Mangetsusai Festival🌕, which is one of he oldest festivals in Japan.
It has been held every summer on the full moon since the 1980s, originally organized by Masai, now organization of the festival passed down to the next generation🌈we keep his legacy alive.
Let’s create a wonderful world together, let people connect to each other😁

🌳About the location🌳

The venue, Bakugenjin Village, is located deep in the mountains, 4km away from the national highway, on a forest road.
At that time, the beatnik, hippie culture and counter culture were sprouting and spreading, and this is an original place where Masai and Akira settled and developed to find freedom and utopia.
Starting with no electricity, gas, or running water, they gathered their friends and continued to live as a self-sufficient community.
All the buildings and facilities in Bakugenjin Village were build by the members of the community. Everything is handmade and homemade. Currently, electricity is generated by solar power, and clean water supply comes from the river and groundwater. Yes, water is very clean. We do check it.
Please be informed, there is no mobile phone signal on the territory of the festival.
A large river flows here, and it’s a full immerse in nature experience✨
This is a place where you can truly feel freedom.
It’s a camping trip in the middle of nature🏕,
so please bring your own tent and necessary items✨

We will start selling advance tickets for the Mangetsusai Festival from July 1st to July 31st✨

⚠️Japanese yen cannot be used in Bakugenjin Village at this year’s Mangetsusai Festival. ⚠️

The only currency used at this year’s Mangetsusai Festival will be internal festival currency called “Chara”❣️
It’s like exchanging your home currency for the currency of a foreign country when you go abroad🇹🇭🇨🇳🇯🇵🇹🇼🇰🇷🇦🇷 You can exchange yen to chara and use it on the premises of the festival.

The Three Tepees is a chill out zone for everyone❤️

Open Mic will be held on the Mini Teepee stage.

🌕We are calling for volunteers from all over the world for the Mangetsusai Festival 2024! 🌕
We are looking for people who can stay long-term and participate in the Mangetsusai festival process from preparation to cleanup! 11 days from August 12th to August 22nd.
We were looking for 40 people. Now we have 21 spot available.
